Georgeus vintage mid century modern ceramic dinnerware set made in Yugoslavia. Red ceramics was very popular in Yugoslavia in the 70's and 80's, but majority of the produced red ceramics were exported to the Soviet Union.
There is no mark of the producing company, but it was made in KIL, a Slovenian company that was one of the biggest ceramics producing companies in Yugoslavia. KIL has more than a 200 year tradition, but unfortunately it's failing now so what remains are these quality ceramic pieces.
The tea set comes in cardinal red color and is very well preserved. The set contains a tea pot with a handle and a lid as well as a pair of tea cups with plates.
It's a beautiful set for any retro style kitchen or anyone that likes or collects vintage ceramics.
