Large Mid Century Chandelier / Vintage Copper Gooseneck Pendant Light / Space Age / Yugoslavia 80's

An exceptional and very rare large vintage chandelier, manufactured in Yugoslavia during the 1970s or early 1980s.

This impressive statement light features nine beautifully arranged arms, each supporting a spherical shade made from thick matt white glass. The globes are positioned at different heights, creating a wonderfully sculptural, cascading composition that looks striking from every angle.

The elegant curved arms give the chandelier its distinctive Space Age character, while the combination of genuine copper elements and copper-plated metal parts adds warmth and depth to the design. Over the decades, the metal has developed visible areas of oxidation, colour variation and authentic patina. These natural signs of age give the chandelier a particularly rich and characterful appearance and form an important part of its vintage charm.

When illuminated, the nine frosted glass globes diffuse the light beautifully, producing a soft, warm and atmospheric glow. Even when switched off, the chandelier remains a dramatic sculptural presence and a true focal point within a room.

The light is in good vintage condition and has been tested and is in good working order. It shows age-related wear and patina to the copper and copper-plated metal components, as visible in the photographs. The chandelier uses nine E14 screw-thread light bulbs. Bulbs are not included.
