Pair of Vintage 1970s Table Lamps, MCM Chrome Bedside Lamps, Frosted Glass Shades, Adjustable European Desk Lights

A beautiful matching pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern table lamps, dating from the 1970s, probably made in Yugoslavia.

These charming lamps feature an elegant combination of chrome-plated metal, substantial cast iron bases and beautiful thick frosted glass shades. The softly ribbed glass has a wonderful sculptural quality and creates a warm, diffused light when illuminated.

The shades are adjustable, allowing the light to be directed where needed. Their compact proportions make these lamps particularly suitable as bedside lamps, reading lights, desk lamps or atmospheric accent lighting.

The heavy cast iron bases provide excellent stability, while the curved chrome arms and original fittings give the lamps a distinctive vintage modernist character.

Both lamps have been carefully updated for continued use. The lamp sockets, switches and plugs are new, while the original vintage character of the lamps has been preserved.
