Pair of vintage globe wall sconces with thick white opaline glass shades, manufactured in Yugoslavia in the 1950s or 1960s. Their simple, rounded forms combine mid century modern elegance with a subtle industrial character.
These were among the most common light fixtures in Yugoslavia, found in both private homes and public buildings—from toilets, bathrooms, hallways and basements to balconies and outdoor entrances. Their simple globe shape and functional design make them timeless examples of minimalist lighting.
Each light features a cast aluminium base with its original white paint, showing minor signs of wear that add to its authentic vintage charm. The opaline glass softly diffuses the light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
These versatile light fixtures can be mounted on the wall as sconces or on the ceiling as compact flush mount lights. Displayed as a pair, they would make a beautiful addition to a hallway, bedroom or living space, complementing modern, vintage and retro interiors alike.

Both lights have been rewired and are in very good vintage condition. Please look closely at the photographs for details of their condition and original finish.
Sold only as a pair. The price is for both lights.
