A beautiful and increasingly rare Art Deco lamp featuring an elegant hand-blown beige glass shade with delicate gold stripe detailing and chrome-plated metal construction. Designed as both a table lamp and a wall lamp, this versatile piece is believed to have been made in Yugoslavia during the 1930s–1940s, reflecting the clean lines and timeless elegance of the Bauhaus and Art Deco periods.
This lamp has quite a story.
When I found it, it was in very poor condition—tired, neglected, and no longer functional. Rather than letting another piece of design history disappear, I carefully and patiently restored it to preserve its original character while making it safe for everyday use again.
Today, it is fully functional and ready for a new home.
The beige opaline glass shade produces a wonderfully warm, soft light, while the polished chrome complements both classic Art Deco interiors and modern minimalist spaces. Whether placed on a bedside table, desk, shelf, or mounted on a wall, it becomes an eye-catching statement piece.
