This stable and strong vintage industrial stool was made in Yugoslavia probably in the 1970's.
The seat is height-adjustable with a robust simple screw thread that works flawlessly. The frame is made of metal painted in gray, the seat is made of thick solid wood.
Such MCM stools were used in school, laboratory and workshops.
Such robust rustic stools are currently very popular for modern, retro or vintage interiors. It can be used in almost any room. A very usable space age stool but can also be a nice decor piece, plant stand or side table that will add charm to your environment.
The mid century wood stool is in good condition with a patina and traces of decades of use. Please see the photos. The wooden part is carefully cleaned and oiled with natural oil.
I carefully left all traces and signatures of users on it. This gives it a special charm and preserves its creative soul. A very rare find and a cool stool.
